We are pleased to announce that the 2025 session of the IP ACADEMY seminar will take place from June 26 to July 2, 2025 in Paris. 

This 5-day Seminar is designed for IP practitioners wishing to gain a practical understanding of the European Patent system and the European Union Design. 

The lectures address essential aspects of this system, with a view to helping participants optimize their efficiency in handling cases before the European Patent Office. 

The Seminar also includes practical workshops that aim at maximizing the benefits of this learning experience.  

Our partner, Gide Loyrette Nouel will also be taking part in this seminar to provide participants with a litigator's perspective on the UPC!

The National Intellectual Property Pleading Competition is now open!

The aim of the CN2PI is to enable students in specialized Masters programs to meet and compete in oral arguments before intellectual property specialists. It's a valuable opportunity to meet and exchange ideas, and to nurture the talents of tomorrow!

During the day, Anne-Laure Deleuze and Barbara Casadewall spoke on the theme of “IP protection strategy in digital health: from theory to practice”, with feedback from Luc Pierart, Chairman and founder of PKvitality, a French company that is a champion of innovation in the fight against diabetes, and which last year featured in the INPI ranking of leading patent filers in the SME category.

Gabrielle Faure-André gave a presentation at the Business-Research Day on “New regulations linked to the Nagoya Protocol”.

Raphaëlle Gillet and Lucile Vernoux are participating as judges in the Lyon Start-Up Competition, as part of the sponsorship agreement between the Fondation de l'Université de Lyon and the CNCPI. Alongside a 4-month mentoring program, this competition will enable all new business ideas to practice the rigors of pitching. Following Lucile Vernoux's participation in the first round on October 19 & 20, Raphaëlle Gillet will be taking part in the second round on November 23, 2021, which will see the shortlist of 50 projects narrowed down to 20 or so to compete in the final on December 15.
