Nicolas Bouquin is a French and European patent attorney.
Nicolas worked for several years as a scientist, both in France and abroad, in academia and for a pharmaceutical company, before switching to intellectual property. After a few years as a patent attorney in a big pharma, Nicolas joined Regimbeau in 2009, where he assists his clients - from start-ups to big pharmas - in the protection and defense of their innovations in all aspects of life sciences and biotechnologies, with a particular focus on immunotherapy and antibodies.
Nicolas thus handlesh numerous French, European and foreign requests relating to complex biotechnology inventions. He has participated in multiple oppositions and appeals, in particular on issues related to antibodies.
Nicolas has a extensive experience advising on supplementary protection certificates (SPCs), in particular for gene or cell therapy products and antibodies.
