Background

Jean-Nicolas Héraud began his industrial property career with a ten-year experience at INPI (French Patent Office). He started as a patent examiner in thermodynamics, thermics, nuclear, drilling and lighting, and then headed an examination department with a dozen patent examiners in the field of transportation (automotive, aeronautics, space and railway industry). After six years of experience in an industrial property firm, Jean-Nicolas joined Regimbeau in 2023.

Jean-Nicolas has developed a specific expertise in patent prosecution in France and has extensive practice in European patent prosecution. His practice is mainly focused on mechanical and physical engineering, in particular in the automotive, aeronautical and medical technology fields.
