Paris, 30 August 2021 – The “Ideas Powered for Business” SME funding program initiated by the EUIPO and the European Commission opens, on September 1st, a new and final one month window to submit your funding requests!
Since the beginning of January, this program has allowed SMEs to receive financial assistance (up to 1500 €) to develop their strategies in the field of Intellectual Property and to protect their trademarks and creations. Since the beginning of the year, more than 8,000 SMEs from all over Europe have benefited from this assistance, with the largest proportion coming from Germany, Spain, and Italy.
This assistance is intended to finance two types of services:
IP pre-diagnostic services: 75% of the cost of these services is covered;
Trademark filing: 50% of trademark and design basic application fees are covered.
In order to benefit from this financial assistance, your company must meet the definition of an SME. You must then complete the application and file it during the open application window.
You can file your application between September 1st and 30th during this 5th and final application period. Please note that the EUIPO awards assistance on a first come, first served basis!
Innovation is a part of your strategy and a key lever for the growth of your company; we are at your disposal to accompany you in securing and valorizing your investments.
